About us

Built by someone who was refreshing the same calendar you are.

VisaSlotsPlus is a small, independent operation — not a startup with a press page. It started as a personal tool for relaying US visa slot sightings to a handful of people, and it became a product for one specific reason: watching that stream every day made it obvious how much of it was useless to any individual reading it.

The thing we noticed

If you have spent any time in a visa slot community you know the shape of it: hundreds of messages a day, most of them saying nothing is available, punctuated by a screenshot that sets off a scramble. Everyone sees every message. Almost nobody can use most of them.

Reading enough of those screenshots, one detail kept surfacing. The scheduling system only shows you a slot if it has at least as many seats as people on your application — so a slot with one seat, which set off a stampede in the group, was literally invisible to half the people racing for it. Applicants with families were chasing appointments they could never have booked.

That is the entire reason this service exists. Not faster alerts — relevant ones. The number of seats a slot has is right there in the screenshot, and reading it turns a firehose into something you can act on.

What we are, plainly

  • An independent notification service. Not affiliated with the US government, any consulate, CGI Federal or VFS Global, and not a visa consultancy.
  • Run by one engineer, not a support centre. You are messaging a person.
  • Funded by subscriptions only. No advertising, no selling of contact data, no referral kickbacks from anyone.
  • Currently focused on H-1B and H-4 in-person interviews at the five US posts in India, because that is what we can watch properly.

What we will never be

  • A service that asks for your visa-scheduling password.
  • A service that books, or claims it can book, on your behalf.
  • A service that implies it is connected to a consulate.
  • A service that manufactures alerts to look busy during a quiet month.

Why we charge

Because reading screenshots costs money and running a delivery pipeline around the clock costs money, and a free service in this category eventually pays for itself in ways you would not like — selling your number, ranking alerts by who paid, or quietly dying. We would rather charge you honestly for a service you can leave the moment you have your appointment.

That is also why the pricing is built in blocks rather than as an endless subscription. If we have done our job, you stop paying us — and hopefully tell the next person in your position.

How we decide things

Three rules that settle most arguments.

Say what is true, including when it is inconvenient

Coverage we do not have, speed we cannot promise, slots we did not see. Every one of those is a short-term temptation and a long-term way to end up in the same review sections as everyone else in this category.

Send less, not more

The obvious way to look valuable is to send a lot of alerts. It is also the reason people end up muting alert services entirely. We would rather send you four messages a week that are all worth reading.

Remember what is at stake

On the other end of every alert is somebody trying to start a job, join a spouse or begin a degree. That is not a notification volume metric. It is why the seat filter exists at all.

Talk to us directly.

There is no ticketing system. Email goes to a person who can change how the product works, and generally answers the same day.

Visa types
Consulates
A slot is only visible to you if it has at least this many seats — it is what makes an alert bookable.

Stop watching the calendar.

Tell us your consulate, your visa type and how many people are on your application. We will watch it for you and message you on WhatsApp the second something you can book appears.
