Coverage

All five US consulates in India. Two visa types, properly.

New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad and Kolkata — watched continuously, with alerts filtered to the posts you would actually travel to. We are explicit about what is live and what is not, because implied coverage is how people end up paying for alerts that never come.

US visa slots in New Delhi

Embassy of the United States, New Delhi

The US Embassy in New Delhi is the largest US mission in India and covers the northern states. It carries the highest raw appointment volume of any post, which means both the most cancellations and the most competition for each one.

US visa slots in Mumbai

US Consulate General, Mumbai

The Mumbai consulate serves western India, including Maharashtra and Gujarat. Demand from the finance and pharmaceutical sectors keeps its H-1B load heavy, and released slots tend to be taken within minutes.

US visa slots in Chennai

US Consulate General, Chennai

Chennai historically processes the largest share of Indian H-1B and F-1 workload and is the default choice for much of southern India. It is also where the reporting community is densest, which helps detection.

US visa slots in Hyderabad

US Consulate General, Hyderabad

Hyderabad serves Telangana and Andhra Pradesh and sees exceptional H-1B and H-4 demand from the IT corridor. For many applicants it is the first post to check and the hardest to get into.

US visa slots in Kolkata

US Consulate General, Kolkata

The Kolkata consulate covers eastern India. It is the smallest of the five posts by volume, which cuts both ways: fewer slots overall, but noticeably less competition when one appears.

Watch more than one

The applicants who get appointments watch three posts, not one.

Consulates do not release cancellations in step with each other. Someone watching only Hyderabad misses every Chennai and Mumbai opening in the meantime — and in a backlog this deep, the post you are willing to fly to matters less than the appointment you can get.

Adding consulates costs nothing on any plan. Filtering by seat count is what keeps the extra coverage from becoming extra noise.

Coverage questions

What we watch, and what we do not.

Can I get alerts for more than one consulate?

Yes, and you should. Applicants who watch three or four posts get an appointment materially sooner than those watching one, because releases are not synchronised across posts. There is no extra charge for additional consulates.

Do you cover dropbox (interview waiver) appointments?

Our live coverage is in-person interview slots, which is where the demand moved when interview-waiver eligibility narrowed. Dropbox coverage is on the roadmap; tell us on the form if that is what you need and it moves up the queue.

What about F-1, B1/B2 and L-1?

Planned, not live. We would rather cover two visa types properly than five badly — a service that claims coverage it does not have is the single most common complaint in this category, and we are not going to be another example of it.

Do you cover consulates outside India?

Not today. Third-country processing was sharply restricted for Indian nationals, which removed most of the reason anyone was watching posts elsewhere.

A slot is only visible to you if it has at least this many seats — it is what makes an alert bookable.

Pick your posts. We will watch all of them.

There is no per-consulate charge and no per-alert charge. Choose every post you would genuinely travel to and let the seat filter keep it manageable.
